Isidore is an agtech venture incubated at Founders Factory Africa that is a tech-enabled, staple food value-chain facilitator providing financing and access to markets for agribusinesses. Isidore helps agri-businesses achieve growth by providing access to capital, agile technology, and high-quality extension services. In 2022, Small Foundation supported Isidore with a loan guarantee which helped Isidore to validate its self-aggregation model and to create and grow the Jinja Platform and Jinja Marketplace.

Systems lens

Isidore offers much-needed finance and services to smallholder farmers, agri-SMEs, buyers and processors in Nigeria. Working towards reducing fragmentation in food value chains, Isidore connects smallholder farmers to markets and the agri-processors to inputs. Small Foundation’s vision is that more investors and lenders will support innovative agtech ventures like Isidore at earlier stages, as they demonstrate traction in their businesses.
